Four Soccer Ravens Named Academic All-State

Even with the loss of the 2020 season due to the coronavirus pandemic, four Raven soccer players were recognized for their academic achievements by the Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association. Players were selected based on their GPA’s and their contributions to the 2019 season.

John Hughes, a junior, was named to the Academic All-State 1st team. Hughes was joined by junior Eli Ours and seniors Kobe Borntrager and Tobias Chen, all named to the 2nd team. All four started two years ago and played key roles in leading the team to the State tournament for the second consecutive year.
