Joetown Classic
What originally began as a fundraiser hosted by the 1984 Cross-Country team, the Joetown Classic was resurrected several years ago and is now hosted by the Hillcrest Academy Alumni Association. Part of Homecoming Weekend, join us for a nice run (or walk) around the Hillcrest Academy campus and in/around Joetown. By participating in this event for all ages you’ll be supporting Hillcrest Academy and the Alumni Association in helping to provide The Hillcrest Experience for our students and community.
New this year is instead of a t-shirt, participants will get a beautiful, colorful commemorative glass. Also, this year we will be hosting only one 5K race/walk (no kid’s race) and the race/walk won’t be timed. But don’t worry, the overall male and female winners will still receive the JC5K traditional pan of cinnamon rolls.
This year’s event will be the morning of October 5, 2024. Come out on and join us for donuts and chocolate milk, bounce on the inflatable, run or walk around our campus and Joetown, and hang out with alumni and friends new and old.
