Camp Director, Coach Marcus Miller ’76 played soccer at IMS/Hillcrest, in addition to playing at the collegiate level at Eastern Mennonite College. Miller has been at Hillcrest since the fall of 1993 prior to soccer being a state sanctioned sport. Under Miller’s coaching, the soccer team has made three trips to the State tournament in the fall and two trips to state in the spring season. In the Spring of 2003 Miller helped start the boys and girls soccer program at Mid-Prairie High School coaching both the boys and girls teams for the first year, then coaching the girls team for the next two. Miller then oversaw the transition of the IMS team to the spring season in 2006. Miller has been named Conference Coach of the Year several times and is always gratified to see former players enter coaching.
